My name is Andrew Weiss. I am happily married to The Queen of Animals, and we live in a house on the hillside filled with pets and a shared collection of popcult ephemera.
I am an obsessive retrologist and hopeless dilettante. I also have a complicated relationship with my home town of Woburn and the Bay State in general.
I can be reached at bitter DOT andrew AT gmail DOT com.

Not being familiar with Mr Larkin, nor his “work”, but having read a couple of other reviews I don’t think I will be spending my hard-earned on ‘Arcade Of Cruelty’. But isn’t his comment, if indeed it is his, supposed to be funny-ironic? In a similar way to the book is apparently supposed to be. It has to be surely, else he is going to take offence at just about every reviewer on the planet, and threaten violence, at some point in time. If you can’t take a bad review – don’t write a shit book.

Signs point to it being an internet persona, but even so, it’s a tired, foolish, and possibly legally actionable one.
