    Well, the incisive criticism implicit in this bold deconstruction of archetypes certainly rebuts the dangerous naivete bound up within the four-color superheroic narrative, while also helping to ensure that nobody ever has fun again.

    I’m pretty sure that Overman was the result of a government experiment instead of an alien being, but it’s been a while since I’ve read those issues.
